As a foreigner in Denmark, it can be hard to find a way to turn your professional skills into money. In this talk, I’ll try to shed some light on which options you have to make a living out of your IT-skills – but much of it applies to other professions as well. I’ll give some advice on how to get a regular job but the main focus will be that of an entrepreneur. Why would you start a company? What basic business models exists? What do you do – quite practically? I’ll give an introduction to this as well as covering the various cultural aspects of doing business in Denmark.
