An opportunity to learn about renewable energy investing and its role in green transition in Europe, and more specifically Denmark and Ukraine.

 Points and Subjects that will be discussed:

• European energy system is shifting from fossil fuels (gas, coal and oil) to more sustainable and self-sustainable energy sources
• Renewable energy is playing an important role in this transition, together with other factors. Full decarbonization would require significant investments and rethinking of the entire energy system in the region. Many of the renewable energy sources are cheaper and more competitive than traditional gas and oil, plus they allow for energy independence 
• Denmark is one of the global leaders in green energy, especially offshore wind. The whole offshore wind industry has originated here. There are many companies in Denmark and Nordics that design, manufacture, invest in renewable energy
• Renewable energy will likely play an important role in green transition of Ukraine.
