Business Incubator: Your first year running a company

All the workshops and business incubators of The European-Ukrainian Hub are organized specifically for Ukrainians in Denmark.

Join our business incubator, across 7 weeks between mid-May and June 2024, to learn how you can manage one of the most important resources in your company - money, and understand what expects you in the first year of running a business. 

 

Language: English (with slides in Ukrainian + partial translation into Ukrainian language)


Speakers: 

 

Adrian Ionel Ursu - Consultant with over 10 years of experience with a focus on solving issues related to navigating the Danish legislation. Although he specializes in taxation reporting, he also offers bookkeeping services via his company ConsultDK. 


Diana Medrea-Mogensen - Business advisor with experience in integrating educational services into the entrepreneurial model, especially in creating accessible learning opportunities for adults in a second language. She will detail her journey of securing European funding and building strong transnational partnerships, offering actionable insights on how to use educational frameworks to enhance entrepreneurial ventures.


Sissi Bak - Business Development and Marketing expert with over 10 years of experience in supporting SMEs grow their business in the Scandinavian Market. Sissi has also a strong background in capacity building and training, conducting sessions tailored for the Nordic market. She has developed and facilitated over 200 workshops and training tailored to entrepreneurs and SMEs in Scandinavia. 


Narcis George Matache - Course developer and facilitator with over 300 workshops created and implemented in the past five years; Expertise in designing business courses aimed at international entrepreneurs in Denmark.

 

The course is aimed towards: 

  • People who have already registered their CVR number and want to prepare for the first year
  • People who plan to soon register the CVR number and want to know what is expected afterwards

  • Learn how to create and send invoices using the chosen software.

 

Workshop 2: Understand the deductions and how to bookkeep

  • Understand various deductions applicable to the business.
  • Learn how to maintain accurate bookkeeping records.

 

Workshop 3: All about the taxes and how to report them

  • Gain knowledge about different types of taxes applicable to businesses.
  • Learn how to report taxes accurately and timely.

 

Workshop 4: Financial planning and funding 

27.05.2024, 17:00 - 19:00 (Monday) 

  • Learn how to navigate the entrepreneurial landscape in Denmark, including how to test your business ideas, secure financing, and find strategic partners. This workshop will also guide you on how to connect with business clubs and communities where you can meet like-minded entrepreneurs.

  • Understand the importance of budgeting in achieving business goals.

 

Workshop 6: Pricing strategies

  • Learn how to formulate effective pricing strategies for businesses commonly started by refugees and expats in Denmark. This workshop will offer insights on how to set competitive prices and adapt to the unique market challenges and opportunities in Denmark.
